This year again, we are organizing activities for children in our Centre during the winter holidays of the many different schools (public and private) operating all over Bosnia-Herzegovina.
We have planned to host the following 7-day camps:
Camp 1 – Friday 2 January (14:00 hours) to Friday 9 (10:00 hours)
Camp 2 – Friday 9 January (14:00 hours) to Friday 16 (10.00 hours)
Camp 3 – Friday 16 January (14:00 hours) to Friday 23 (10:00 hours)
Camp 4 – Friday 23 January (14:00 hours) to Friday 30 (10:00 hours)
One advanced camp could be organised on request, from Thursday 25 to Thursday 31 December.
In order to suit families’ special requirements, the various camps can be shortened or extended individually by one or two days. Camps will accommodate 6 to 12 children.
The main activity shall be horse-riding, including theoretical teaching in preparation for “Gallop” exams in the summer of 2009. Each participant will have the possibility to ride two hours per day, under the direction of well-trained instructors. Apart from horse-riding and permanent contact with the Foundation’s animals, many indoor and outdoor activities will be organized, depending on the wishes of the majority. Sledge and building igloos will be in the program if there is enough snow!
Children will be taken care of permanently by members of the Foundation used to supervise and animate younger people. Our guests will eat appropriately, in due relation to their activities. At the end of very busy days, they will enjoy the healing silence of the nights of Kakrinje! They will have an opportunity to create, or reinforce, friendly contacts with other participants.
Ski lessons on the Bjelasnica can be organized on request, against extra payment for transport, instruction and renting of equipment.
